For supporting culture development:2025

Preserving Cultural Heritage ◆ Bringing It into Our Everyday Lives

In 2025, the company invested more than NT$3 million in supporting cultural development initiatives. Supporting cultural development delivers tangible business benefits to VisEra, such as enhancing corporate image, contributing to corporate governance evaluations, strengthening stakeholders’ understanding of the company’s sustainability practices and values, and increasing potential job seekers’ identification with the employer brand. More importantly, it also creates social value, including helping arts organizations and cultural institutions achieve long-term sustainability, fostering public awareness and appreciation of the arts and culture, and bringing more truth, goodness, and beauty to society. The specific actions are outlined below:

(1) Since August 2024, VisEra Technologies has partnered with National Tsing Hua University to promote the “Hsinchu Literary Walk” program. In 2025, the program entered its second phase with funding of NT$700,000. Open to all employees, cumulative participation has exceeded 300 attendees, receiving enthusiastic feedback. Through guided walking experiences and engaging storytelling, participants gained deeper insights into Hsinchu’s local cultural context and the rich literary and historical backgrounds of its various districts.

(2) Sponsored domestic performing arts groups, including Godot Theatre, with NT$250,000. This year, VisEra collaborated with cultural organizations to support performances through initiatives such as newcomer training programs and ticket purchases. Productions included the laughter-filled stand-up comedy show Comedy Club Live, as well as the musical 3 Idiots, adapted for the first time overseas from the classic Bollywood film. These activities provided employees and their families with diverse options for relaxation and cultural enjoyment.

(3) Invested NT$330,000 in domestic films. Through sponsorship, VisEra supported the release of the documentary The Sleeping Underwater Giant, responding to ocean conservation efforts and guiding audiences to witness the disappearing marine environment, thereby deepening awareness and concern for environmental issues. A Chip Odyssey, the first documentary film depicting the history of Taiwan’s semiconductor industry, uses culture as a bridge to connect environmental, ecological, and industrial memories, demonstrating the company’s corporate social responsibility and humanistic values.

(4) To support local cultural performing groups, VisEra invested NT$1.41 million. Domestic performing groups, including Tian Circus Creative Theatre and Kaleidoscope Theatre, were invited to perform on Family Day, attracting over 1,500 employees and family members. Audiences of all ages thoroughly enjoyed the performances. During the year-end banquet, Taipei Quyi Troupe were invited for surprise flash performances, with more than 1,200 employees in attendance. Senior executives also joined the performers on stage, creating a joyful atmosphere shared by all employees.

(5) Supported domestic publications and lectures by CommonHealth Magazine with NT$200,000. Super Green Smoothie author Yue-Ching Chen, drawing on more than 30 years of personal practice, introduced her ‘Super Green Energy Drink,’ which uses natural fruits, vegetables, and phytochemicals to activate the body’s self-healing capacity. The lecture encouraged employees to pay greater attention to their own health and to the well-being of their families.

(6) The company also actively sponsored exhibitions of works by domestic artists, investing approximately NT$150,000. Paintings were displayed in the corridors of the company’s office buildings, supporting artists from the Little Light Public Welfare Gallery by showcasing multiple works. In terms of impact, these concrete actions help disadvantaged groups increase their income and strengthen their connection with society, creating a platform that combines beauty and kindness.

Supporting Domestic Film Production

By hosting private screenings and director talks for domestic films, VisEra Technologies uses culture as a bridge to connect environmental, ecological, and industrial memories, demonstrating the company’s corporate social responsibility and humanistic care. This approach ensures that sustainability goes beyond data and technology, becoming a shared value that can be understood, felt, and passed on. Traditional Arts and Culture, Closely Connected to Life

VisEra Technologies places great importance on employee welfare. This year, several arts and cultural groups were specially invited to perform, receiving enthusiastic praise from employees and their families. Beyond providing joyful experiences, these performances allowed employees to gain a deeper understanding of the passion, energy, and cultural value of the arts groups, recognizing their contributions to cultural development.

Tian Circus Creative Theatre
After its transformation in 2020, Tian Circus Creative Theatre has focused on developing the genre of "circus musicals," expanding new markets in the arts and culture sector. For VisEra employees, they delivered lively and engaging welcome interactions and a bubble show, setting the stage for laughter. Their performance of the classic piece Bug Explorer not only promoted the importance of ecological conservation but also wowed adults with thrilling stunt choreography, while keeping children completely captivated.

Kaleidoscope Theatre
Founded in 2010, Kaleidoscope Theatre is dedicated to promoting arts education and caring for society. For VisEra's Family Day, they brought their most popular activities for children, including interactive dance sessions led by "big brother and big sister" performers and balloon workshops, allowing employees' little ones to have fun, laugh, and leave with happy memories.

Traditional arts and culture closely connected to life

U-Theatre, Taiwan Traditional Theatre Center, and Taipei Philharmonic Chorus
For the year-end banquet, the "Cultural Taiwan Team"—comprising U-Theatre, Taiwan Traditional Theatre Center, and the Taipei Philharmonic Chorus—was specially invited, bringing cultural depth and artistic charm to the event. This initiative also demonstrated the company's commitment to social responsibility and cultural sustainability. Through interaction with the arts, employees' appreciation for Taiwan's diverse culture was enhanced, while reinforcing the company's emphasis on creativity, cultural heritage, and participation in the arts within its corporate culture.

Since its founding in 1988, U-Theatre has integrated drumming, martial arts, and Zen meditation, presenting the depth and international vision of Taiwan's contemporary performing arts, and conveying the aesthetic meaning of Eastern philosophy through body language.

Taiwan Traditional Theatre Center presented highlights in the form of cross-talk, perfectly combining humor and traditional opera elements, providing employees with a refreshing viewing experience.

The Taipei Philharmonic Chorus has long been dedicated to choral education and performed a flash performance at the year-end banquet.
